Another year of great memories made with HG and one of our family’s favorite Oxford traditions! Double Decker Festival is quite different with a stroller-bound baby who can’t walk and an almost two year old who bounces between being glued to Mommy’s hip and wanting to climb stairs and run free. I made the mistake of getting her excited about the petting zoo since they’ve had one as long as I can remember. Of course, THIS was the year that there was no petting zoo, and she was pitiful as she kept asking, “Animals?” We chased down every dog on that square to make her happy, although she would have nothing to do with petting them. She wanted Mommy to do that for her! We had a great time on a beautiful day in Oxford- another fabulous Double Decker in the books!
