On Saturday, we were lucky enough to have a little reunion of the Pleasant Hill Estates neighborhood kiddos (the neighborhood where John grew up and where his mom still lives next door to Chris’ parents). Larry, Carmella, and Thomas came in town from Houston, and Michele came in from Nashville with her boyfriend. We spent a lazy Saturday afternoon with the Egners by the pool and the boys’ competing over whose cannon ball could make the biggest splash, and HG had a great time kissing all of Lillian’s yard statues. (She loves, loves, loves to kiss things…she’s still shy of kissing most people but will hand them out to her parents and grandparents.) Watching the babies interact was really fun too. Thomas’ little sister, Gabriella, will arrive in November, and I think Helen Grace will be excited to have another gal pal to add to the second generation of babies. Thomas and Isaiah have her outnumbered right now. :)
