Last Friday night, I met some of my college BFFs down in Oxford for a girls’ night out. What a fun escape from reality to take a step back in time! We ate dinner at a new place called the Snack Bar, had drinks at Waltz (the poor bartender was ready for the us old ladies to LEAVE!), picked up some pizza rolls and potato logs at Chevron (can you believe they didn’t have any chicken on a stick because their cook quit?!?), and stopped by the DG House for a remake of an old favorite pic. We spent the night at Downtown Inn and hit the Square on Saturday morning. After wearing ourselves out shopping, we had lunch at Roosters before heading back home. We all live in different parts of the state, so it was very refreshing to have a night all to ourselves to act silly, tell old, embarrassing stories, and enjoy being together. Love you, girls!
